JD(U) seeks Manmohan’s resignation
Special Correspondent
NEW DELHI: Janata Dal (United) general secretary Javed Raza has demanded the resignation of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in the wake of the rise in the prices of petroleum products and essential commodities.
The fuel price hike would only add to the burden of the common man, who was already reeling under an increase in the prices of food grains and other essential commodities, he said.
“The UPA government has no right to continue as it had failed on all fronts. Dr. Singh should step down owning moral responsibility.”
