Bhutia invited for Goal4Africa match

NEW DELHI: Dutch legend Clarence Seedorf, the first global ambassador for the Goal4Africa Project, has invited Bhaichung Bhutia to participate in a friendly football match that will launch the project on July 12 (celebration of Nelson Mandela’s 90th birthday) at the Allianz Arena, Munich, Germany.

The Goal4Africa project plans to raise 90 million euros as a tribute to Mandela.

Top international players including Kaka, Steven Gerrard, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Gianluigi Buffon and Didier Drogba are expected to participate in the match, according to an AIFF release.
