Sandeep, Rout triumph

KOCHI: Sandeep Jain and S.R. Rout of Army Yachting Node (12 points) won the National inland enterprise championship which concluded at the National Defence Academy, Khadekwasta Lake in Pune on Friday. Another AYN pair, P. Pushparajan Muthu and Nijeesh Bhaskaran, finished runner-up.

The Kerala Yachting Association’s team of Gulshan Chunekar and Abhijith Pillai which finished fourth in the first race and second in the fifth race, ended 11th overall. Another KYA side, Ninad Mayekar and Dharmes Thakkar, finished 14th.
