Anshul scores century

NEW DELHI: An unbeaten 143 by opener Anshul Gupta who struck 12 fours and two sixes helped Rohtak Road Gymkhana to a three-wicket victory over DDCA President’s XI in the pre-quarterfinals of the 35th all-India Goswami Ganesh Dutt memorial cricket tournament at the St. Stephen’s College ground here on Friday.

The scores: DDCA President’s XI 277 for five in 40 overs (Anuj Jain 137 not out) lost to Rohtak Road Gymkhana 278 for seven in 39.1 overs (Anshul Gupta 143 not out, Rahul Yadav 60).
