BHUBANESWAR: Commuters and travel operators of the State have expressed concern over what they called the arbitrary decision of various airlines to discontinue their services to the State. Close on the heels of Air India’s withdrawal of operation between Bhubaneswar-Chennai-Kolkata, Jetlite has decided to discontinue its daily direct evening flights S2 6145 and S2 6146 on the Delhi-Bhubaneswar-Delhi route. “They should not be allowed to do so without taking the stakeholders into confidence,” remarked Travel Link’s managing director Benjamin Simon.
