KGMOA stance

Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala Government Medical Officers’ Association (KGMOA) has declared support to the government for the steps taken by the Health Ministry to get the service quota for medical PG courses, one of the long-standing demands of government doctors, restored. The service quota for medical PG admissions is one way to attract young medical graduates to serve in the public health sector, it said in a statement. Earlier, it was those who served in the difficult rural areas for 12 to 15 years who got the benefit of the PG service quota.
