Residents block traffic after accident

BERHAMPUR: Residents of Dhanamera Street blocked traffic on NH 217 passing through the city following a road accident involving a police van on Friday. Chintamani Moharana from Gopinathpur village, who was riding a bicycle, was injured in the accident. He was rushed to MKCG Medical College hospital by some locals. Angry residents then blocked the road protesting against the way in which the police vehicle left the area after the accident. They demanded that the administration foot the hospital bill.
