Woman, son run over by train

The bodies of an unidentified woman aged about 35 years and her son (9) were found dead near the railway track at Upparapalem railway level crossing near the Bapatla Railway Station premises on Friday morning.

Railway police said that the duo might have been run over by the Korba Express (train No 2763) at about 9.30 p.m on Thursday.

The bodies of the woman and her son were found in a mangled condition. The woman was found wearing a red polyester saree and a locket of Anjaneya Swamy was found on the neck of the boy.
