Honour for EMRI

Emergency Management and Research Institute (EMRI), received top recognition in the healthcare category of Computerworld Honors Programme-2008. The function was held in Washington, USA recently. The award was received by Chief Integrator and Lead Partner of Byraju Foundation Verghese Jacob. EMRI runs the 108 emergency number in AP, Gujarat and Uttarakhand. The three States, with a combined population of about 130 million, have access to EMRI automated emergency call centre services.
