Protest against price hike

KOLAR GOLD FIELDS: Protesting against the steep increase in prices of petroleum products, Communist Party of India (Marxist) activists staged a demonstration here on Friday. Centre of Indian Trade Unions and Democratic Youth Federation of India workers also participated. CPI(M) District Committee secretary G. Arjunan said the hike in prices of petroleum products, coupled with the increase in prices of essential commodities, had made the life of the working class miserable.
