Seven medical, 55 engineering seats selected

BANGALORE: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) on Friday conducted seat selection process for eligible sports candidates. In all, seven medical and 55 engineering seats were selected by the candidates. One medical and three dental, six ISM & H, and 42 engineering seats remained unfilled, a KEA release said.

On Saturday, medical, dental and engineering seats selection process for the wards of Jammu and Kashmiri migrants will be held as per the schedule notified in the CET-2008 brochure. Four medical, one dental and 139 engineering (one seat in each engineering college) seats will be offered for selection to the eligible Jammu and Kashmiri migrant candidates, the release added.
