Students told to adopt eco-friendly lifestyle

HUBLI: Prem Chand, Additional Divisional Railway Manager, Hubli Division, has called upon students to make efforts to reduce emission of greenhouse gases.
He was speaking at a programme organised on the occasion of World Environment Day at the Railway English Medium High School here on Thursday.
“One should take initiatives towards creating a low carbon economy by finding alternative renewable energy sources and by adopting eco-friendly consumption habits and lifestyle,” Mr. Prem Chand said.
He asked the students to avoid unnecessary use of vehicles.
He told them to contribute towards preserving water bodies.
