Cairns bags exploration rights in Sri Lanka

COLOMBO: Cairn India, a subsidiary of a British exploration firm Cairn Energy Plc, has been awarded exploration rights to tap oil and natural gas deposits off Sri Lanka’s coast in the Mannar basin, officials said here on Friday.
