3 remanded to police custody

NEW DELHI: Three proclaimed offenders who were extradited from South Africa for their alleged involvement in a murder case were remanded to seven days’ police custody by a court at Kaithal in Haryana on Friday. “A South African police team escorting the accused -- Baljeet Singh, Jogender Singh and Surender Kumar -- reached Delhi in the morning. The accused were later produced before the Chief Judicial Magistrate in a Kaithal court and sent to seven days’ police remand,” said Senior Superintendent of Police (Sonepat) Navdeep Singh Virk.
