SP’s directive to candidates

Staff Reporter

Kakinada: Candidates, who declared to have appeared in Intermediate, degree or equivalent examinations for selection to the posts of police constables, should submit those certificates in the District Police Office here before the written test to be conducted on July 27 from 9 a.m to 12 noon at JNTU Engineering College.

Those who did not provide creamy layer certificates for scrutiny, should do so before the above date, Superintendent of Police Y Nagi Reddy stated in a release.

Failure to submit the certificates will render the candidates ineligible for the written test. Moreover, BC reservation will not be made applicable for those, who fail to furnish the creamy layer certificates. Meanwhile, on the first day of the fitness tests conducted at the Police Parade Grounds on Friday, 236 candidates qualified for the written test. The total number of candidates who were present was 392 out of 399 applicants.
