Patna: Junior doctors of the Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH), on an indefinite strike since June 5 after they allegedly assaulted three photo journalists, locked the gates of another State-run hospital on Saturday. The junior doctors locked the gates of the Nalanda Medical College and Hospital (NMCH) for a couple of hours before the police intervened. Functioning of the hospital returned to normal after the police broke the lock at the NMCH and stood guard, hospital superintendent N K Yadav told PTI. At the PMCH, 20 doctors from outside have been posted and 40 more were in the process of being drafted for smooth running of the hospital, hospital superintendent O P Chaudhary said.
