THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) will repeal the notification on appointing retired board employees in the non-gazetted cadre. A board release issued here on Saturday said that the notification to appoint retired employees and those who have completed 60 years of age in the non-gazetted cadre on daily wages was issued after holding a meeting of top officials on implementing the recommendations of the Paripoornan Commission report. One of the decisions of the meeting was to appoint retired employees in the existing vacancies. But the board had not endorsed the decision. Hence, the board would repeal the notification, the release said.
