Scholarship for poor students

CHENNAI: ‘Cresk,’ a non governmental organisation, is offering scholarships to economically backward students who have completed Standard X.

‘Cresk’ president S. Jayashree said students would be offered financial assistance either in the form of cheque to the educational institution or the parent or as books and uniforms.

Students applying for the scholarship should have scored not less than 70 per cent in the Standard X examination. The family income of the applicant should not exceed Rs.28,000 per annum.

The last date for submission of the application form is July 30. The form can be downloaded from www.creskindia.com.
