Maoists kill Biju Janata Dal man

VIZIANAGARAM: Biddika Niranjan (38), a contractor and Biju Janata Dal Block president, was killed at China Choorupalli, near Bandu, on Andhra-Orissa Border in Koraput district around 11 p.m. on Friday. In a letter left behind, they said that he was killed reportedly for molesting a tribal girl and it was a warning for others who behaved indecently with tribal women, according to information received here on Saturday. —Correspondent
