THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A conference of Ministers and higher officials convened by Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan here on Saturday discussed issues connected with the takeover of government land held by the Trivandrum Golf Club and other clubs in the State. It resolved that the Revenue and Law Department should jointly fight the case before the High Court regarding takeover of the Golf Club, despite differences. The government will file an affidavit when the case comes before the Court on Tuesday. Revenue Minister K.P. Rajendran; Law Minister M. Vijayakumar; Advocate-General C.P. Sudhakara Prasad; Principal Secretary (Revenue) Nivedita P. Haran; and other officials attended the conference.
