Rae Bareli: The cross examination of the second witness Aslam in the Babri masjid demolition case continued in a special CBI court here on Saturday.

The statement of Aslam, a resident of Ayodhya, was recorded in the court of special CBI judge Vansraj who set June 21 as the next date of hearing in the case.

The court had earlier recorded the statement of CRPF Deputy Commandant R. K. Swami in the case in which a total of six witnesses have to record their statements.

Eight senior BJP and VHP leaders are accused in the case. PTI
