Bhopal: Congress president Sonia Gandhi will launch party’s campaign for the coming Assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh due in November by addressing a public meeting at Ujjain on June 20. “The programme of the Congress chief has been finalised. She will arrive in the State on June 20 to address a public meeting which is considered beginning of the party’s poll campaign,” party spokesman Brijmohan Shrivastava said. Earlier, Ms.Gandhi was scheduled to visit Ujjain on June 9-10, but due to the visit of a delegation of African National Congress to the national Capital on the same dates her programme was rescheduled. All senior Congress leaders and Central Ministers from the State will be present on the occasion, he said. PTI
