Saini shines in Malviya victory

New Delhi: A fine bowling performance by man-of-the-match C.P. Saini (four for 14) and a 45-ball 40 by Hemant Singh helped Malviya Club pip Gush Club by one wicket and enter the final of the 32nd Lala Raghubir Singh day-night twenty20 cricket tournament at the Modern School ground, Barakhamba Road, here on Saturday.

The scores: Gush Club 112 for 9 in 20 overs (C.P. Saini four for 14) lost to Malviya Club 113 for 9 in 20 overs (Hemant Singh 40, Vicky More four for 13).
