19 IPS officers given new postings

BHUBANESWAR: In a major reshuffle, the government on Saturday transferred as many as 19 senior IPS officers.

According to the notification issued by the Home Department, Ramesh Prasad Singh, Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Investigation, Orissa Human Rights Commission, Bhubaneswar, has been posted as Inspector-General of Police, Intelligence.

S.S. Hansdah, IGP Operation, has been posted as Director, State Forensic Science Laboratory, Bhubaneswar. Aruna Kumar Ray, IGP, Intelligence, has been posted as IGP, Vigilance. B. Radhika, IGP, Computer and Director, S.C.R.B., Bhubaneswar, has been posted as Director, Biju Patnaik State Police Academy, Bhubaneswar.

B. P. Mohapatra, IGP, in-charge of Eastern Range, Balasore has been posted as IGP, Investigation, Orissa Human Rights Commission, Bhubaneswar. Y. B. Khurania, Additional Commissioner of Police, Bhubaneswar & Cuttack, has been posted as DIG of Police, Northern Range, Sambalpur. Arun Kumar Sarangi, DIG of Police, North Central Range, Talcher, has been posted as DIG of Police, Operation, Bhubaneswar. Lalit Das, DIG of Police, Vigilance, Cuttack, has been posted as DIG of Police, North Central Range, Talcher. S. K. Nath, DIG of Police, South Western Range, Sunabeda, has been posted as ACP, Bhubaneswar & Cuttack.

Sanjeeb Panda, SP, Baragada, on being promoted to the grade of DIG of Police, has been posted as DIG of Police, South Western Range, Sunabeda.

Y.K. Jethwa, SP, Balasore, on being promoted to the grade of DIG of Police, has been posted as DIG of Police, Eastern Range, Balasore. Santosh Bala, SP, Jharsuguda, has been posted as SP, Rourkela. Rekha Lohani, SP, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar, has been posted as SP, Balasore. Ravi Kant, SP, Rourkela, has been posted as DCP, Headquarters, Bhubaneswar. S.S. Dev Datta Singh, SP, Ganjam, has been posted as SP, Berhampur in place of Nitinjeet Singh, who has been posted as SP, Ganjam.

Shefeen Ahmed K., SP Deogarh, has been posted as SP, Jharsuguda. Sanjeev Arora, SDPO, Malkangiri, has been posted as SP in charge, Deogarh. Jai Narayan Pankaj, SDPO, Baliguda, has been posted as SP in-charge, Nayagarh.
