Three arrested in murder case
NEW DELHI: Three young men have been arrested by the West Delhi police for alleged involvement in the murder of a showroom attendant.
Acting on a tip-off, a police team laid a trap on Guru Virjanand Road here over the weekend and arrested Gurpreet, Gurmeet and Surender when they were allegedly trying to dispose of the stolen cell phone of the murder victim, Amarjit Singh.
According to the police, the three had stabbed Amarjit during a robbery on May 3 and made off with his cell phone and cash. His body was found lying on the main road in Vikaspuri D Block and was identified with the help of general public.
