Dhumal for revival of Kangra miniatures

Shimla: Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal on Saturday called upon artists and enthusiasts to revive the world famous school of Kangra miniature paintings and drum up public-private support in order to promote it among youngsters.

Inaugurating “Strokes of Kangra,” an exhibition of Kangra miniatures, Dhumal said the Government was ready to provide all assistance to Kangra Arts Promotion Society, Dharamsala, which organised the show in collaboration with the state department of language and culture. –PTI
