IIITs’ admission results declared

VIZIANAGARAM: In-charge Collector B. Ramaiah on Saturday announced results for admission to IIITs in Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies at Basara, Nuzvid and Kadapa.

In all, 198 students (boys 110 and girls 88) were selected. Of them, 178 were from government-supported schools and 20 from private schools. Pakki Karthik (OC) from Gajapathinagaram Government High School topped the merit list in the district. The other students were: Illapudora Sankara Rao (ST), ZP High School, Ramabhadrapuram, Kummari Naresh (SC), ZP High School, Chanduluru (L. Kota mandal.

Tenneti Sruthi (OC) of Samasthanam High School in Bobbili topped the girl students in the district. The other girls were: Nimmaka Padma (ST) from Tribal Welfare Residential School for Girls, Kurupam, Kandi Neelima (SC), ZP High School Aarikathota (Ramabhadrapuram mandal), Karthu Paidiraju (BC), ZP High School, Rellivalasa (Poosapatirega mandal).
