Kundan shines

Bangalore: Kundan Singh bagged six wickets and helped East bowl out Central for 278 in a Col. Hemu Adhikari Trophy under-19 inter-zonal cricket tournament match that commenced at the RSI Ground here on Saturday.

At close, East scored 116 for two in 31 overs .

The scores: Central 278 in 56.1 overs (Akash Varma 96, Arjit Gupta 55, Kundan Singh six for 72) vs. East 116 for two in 31 overs (Sudeep 61 n.o.); All-India Universities XI 307 for nine in 90 overs (Hitesh Anand 82, Manish Bhatia 69, Gaurav Gambir 53, Jitendar Singh four for 98) vs. West.
