Football player Krishnan dead

MUMBAI: K.P. Krishnan, a roving centre-half for Tatas Sports Club, a member of the 1954 Santosh Trophy-winning Mumbai team in Chennai, and founder of Matunga Athletic Club, passed away due to illness in Kozhikode on Saturday. He was 87.

A bachelor, he is survived by his sister. — Special Correspondent
