CHENNAI: Unseeded S. Selena Deepthi of CCTC was the centre of attention on Saturday in the ongoing Jiwan Mal Nahata Memorial State-ranking table tennis tournament here. The daughter of table tennis players J. Selvakumar and Arul Selvi, who herself is participating in the women’s section, Deepthi, playing in the girls’ cadet category, showed glimpses of her growing talent by beating top seed V.
