SJFI office-bearers

Mumbai: S. Sabanayakan and A. Vinod, representing East and South Zones, were on Saturday elected President and Secretary respectively of the Sports Journalists Federation of India (SJFI).

They were elected to the top posts at the federation’s AGM at the D. Y. Patil University auditorium in Navi Mumbai.

While Sabanayakan was elected unopposed, Vinod defeated North’s Santosh Suri in a straight contest.

Other office-bearers: Vice-Presidents: Pradeep Vijayakar (West), Kalyan Ashok (South), Subodh Malla Bafua (Eest) and Rakesh Thapliyal (North).

Executive Committee members: Rahul Dixit, Vikas Pandey, A Joseph Anthony, Gordon D’Costa, Alak Ghosh, Satender Pal Singh and Anand Naik. — PTI
