Health card launched

MANIPAL: Manipal University, which has a network of hospitals in Manipal, Udupi, Mangalore and Kasaragod in Kerala, will enrol people for issuing “Manipal Arogya Cards 2008” from June 9 to July 15.
The bearers of these cards will be entitled to special discounts at the group’s hospitals. Pro-Chancellor of the university H.S Ballal said card holders would get unlimited free consultations for one year and inpatients would get free beds in general ward.
The card holders would get 10 to 20 per cent discounts on diagnostics and medicine bills, he said.
