This Day That Age
Robert Donat, the famous British screen and stage actor, died in a London hospital at the age of 53, it was reported in London on June 9. The star of the famous film “Goodbye, Mr. Chips”, he fought illness for more than 20 years and collapsed at Elstree studios last month while completing his first film in five years, “the Inn of the Sixth Happiness”. He made his first stage appearance in Birmingham in 1921.
