■ In the report ‘Special trains go daily’ published in the ‘Briefly’ columns on June 7, the arrival time of train No. 0714 at Vijayawada from Secunderabad is 4.45 a.m. and not 4.45 p.m. as mentioned.

■ Andhra University and Nagarjuna University offer the M.Tech programme in Biotechnology in Andhra Pradesh and not as reported in the front page of the The Hindu Education Plus edition dated June 9.
