Congress can win 36 LS seats in A.P.: Moily

HYDERABAD: AICC general secretary and Andhra Pradesh affairs in-charge Veerappa Moily has expressed confidence that the Congress has the potential to win two-thirds of the 294 Assembly and 36 Lok Sabha seats in the State in the next elections.

He was reacting to an assertion made by Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy that the unprecedented development and welfare schemes made the party the reigning champion.

“Work together”

Participating in the extended executive meeting of the Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee here on Tuesday, he exhorted party leaders and activists to work together.
