Landless poor picket Collectorate

ADILABAD: Residents of Bhagat Singh Nagar and Komram Bheem Nagar, the two slums occupied by the landless poor under the Left parties’ Bhu poratam programme picketed the Collectorate for the second day on Tuesday. CPI (M) leaders who spearheaded the agitation demanding provision of amenities alleged that some of the residents received injuries while the police was forcibly removing them from the site. The police had arrested the agitating residents. -Staff Reporter
