‘I’d love to do Bollywood movies’

Illeana meets winners of contest

Star appeal: Actor Illeana is all smiles at the ‘Airtel Meet and Greet Illeana’ contest held in city on Tuesday.

Hyderabad: The sight of a beautiful lass stepping down from a car was definitely worth the wait for a handful of shutterbugs, and the gathering at the Airtel office in Begumpet on Tuesday afternoon.

After waiting for over an hour, the heart throb of Telugu cinema, Illeana finally arrived to meet winners of the ‘Airtel Meet and Greet Illeana’ contest.

Clad stylishly in a denim jacket and a designer skirt, the leading lady of the recently released Telugu flick ‘Jalsa’ posed for pictures as cameramen went trigger-crazy.

Winners

Six winners of the contest, Suman, Chandrashekar, Sai, Yadgiri, Raju and Sriram Madhav met the actress who, to their delight posed for pictures and interacted with them.

The smiles on their faces pretty much said everything-that they were on cloud nine.

“I’m glad everybody waited, my flight got delayed,” she said, with a hypnotising smile.

Commotion

She caused a real commotion at the office with those waiting to pay bills and those who are supposed to accept payments stood transfixed for a while.

When asked about projects on hand, “There are a few but nothing has been finalised yet,” she chirped.

Any Bollywood offers on the way? “I’d love to do Bollywood movies provided the script is good”, she responded and went away just as she walked in – like a breeze.
