Travel to Bengaluru International Airport in comfort

BANGALORE: The road to the new airport will have one more well-appointed transport service, Airlift. The Rs. 150-million, Bangalore-based OM Group of Companies, engaged in airport advertising, promotions and service apartments business, has now forayed into the airport transfer service through Airlift with its fleet of 30 brand new air-conditioned multi-utility vehicles.

According to Group Managing Partner Om Prakash Nemani, Om Group has committed an initial investment of Rs. 10 crore for Airlift business.

For round-the-clock service, there will be Airlift Lounge at several city start points, multiple en route pick-up points, besides facility of booking anytime, phone or online. Furthermore, Airlift prepaid coupons are also available at MORE and Nilgiri Outlets, he adds.

Airlift has started five routes — BTM Layout through Jayanagar and Marathahalli to Airport, Bannerghatta Road through Hosur Road and St. Marks Road to Airport, Koramangala through Indiranagar and Banaswadi to Airport, Mysore Road through Vijay Nagar and Rajajinagar to Airport and Kanakapura Road through Jayanagar to J.C. Road, KG Road to Airport. A detailed route map and pick-up spots will be provided on call at the Airlift’s 24x7 call centre on 98450 47788. Also one could log on to www.airliftonline.com for bookings through credit or debit cards and make enquiries. Airlift can also be SMSed on 54545.

Airlift charges Rs. 300 for one way and Rs. 450 for a return journey per head.
