Anticipatory bail for four
CHENNAI: The Madras High Court on Wednesday granted anticipatory bail to A.N. Dyaneswaran, retired IAS officer and Chairman of the Tamil Nadu Basketball Association, and three other players in connection with a complaint from Shahul Hameed and two others.
In his order, Justice R. Regupathi said in the event of their arrest, the petitioners should be released on bail on a personal bond of Rs.10,000 and two sureties for a like sum each. They should also appear before the respondent police for three days.
Mr. Dyaneswaran, Sugavaneswaran, Rajeesh and Prabhakar said they apprehended arrest for various alleged offences including 506 (ii) (criminal intimidation) IPC. — Special Correspondent
