TDP, Congress flayed for changing tack on Telangana

BJP State meet to be held in last week of June

KARIMNAGAR: The BJP Kisan Morcha State unit has decided to conduct ‘Kisan Adalats’ from the last week of June to expose the ‘true colours’ of the Congress government in the State and Centre.

Disclosing this to newsmen here on Wednesday, BJP Kisan Morcha State president P. Sugunakar Rao said that they would expose the anti-farmer policies of the State and Central governments during the Kisan Adalats in the villages. He said that the Kisan Adalats were a counter programme against the Congress party-sponsored propaganda on the waiver of crop loans.

Anti-propaganda

Flaying the government for neglect of farm sector, he said that the government had no right to claim being ‘farmer-friendly’. He alleged that the government had failed to prepare kharif action plan, distribution of seeds and fertilizers in the State.

Mr. Sugunakar Rao flayed the TDP and Congress parties for changing their stand on Telangana statehood issue after the byelections in the region. “During the byelections, both the TDP and Congress have competed and took up the Telangana statehood cause in the electioneering. But after the elections, they had completely changed their stand and exposed their true colours,” he said. He also said that the BJP State executive committee meeting would be held in the last week of June in Karimnagar town. Senior leader Ch. Vidyasagar Raoand others would also attend.
