Tribal girl rescued, restored to parents

Rourkela: A minor tribal girl was rescued from New Delhi and handed over to her parents at Petabeda village near here on Wednesday. The police said that the girl aged 14 was taken to New Delhi by a middleman two years ago with the promise of providing a job at Rs. 1,200 per month. But, she was sold to a placement firm for Rs. 5,000, the police said.
