Nabbed

Nedumbassery: The immigration officials at the international airport here on Wednesday held two Bangladeshi nationals in separate cases of illegal stay after visa expiration and passport forgery. In the first case, a passenger identified as Lutter Rehman of Westrapura, Dhaka, was arrested on arrival from Doha in a Qatar Airways flight for travelling on a fake passport. Another Bangladeshi national, M.D. Farhathul Islam, was nabbed as he was on his way to board a Doha-bound Qatar Airways flight. The officials said that on cross examining, it was found that his visa date expired in May. — A Correspondent
