MADURAI: A function was organised here on Sunday to felicitate Kishore Kumar, Inspector General of Police, Hyderabad, and honour centenarians Ondivillu Raja Lakshmi Ammal and Nattamai Sornammal. The function was jointly organised by Sriman Natanagopala Nayaki Swamigal Kalvi Seva Sangam and Nayaki Home Trust. On the occasion, G. Mayilanandam, Commissioner of Income Tax, distributed free note books and uniforms to 250 poor students. Janata Dal (Secular) State general secretary K. John Moses offered felicitations. K. R. Lakshmanan presided.
