Two found murdered
Two unidentified persons were found murdered under Rajendranagar police station limits on Wednesday. The body of a youth in his late 20s with multiple knife injuries was found wrapped in a gunny bag near HB Colony. The second body of a man aged about 35 was found near ‘Palle cheruvu’.
Youth run over
A car lost control and hit a youth Farooq Ahmed walking on the road near Gandipet on Wednesday evening. He succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment at a hospital. A woman also sustained injuries.
Two held
North Zone police on Wednesday arrested Md. Amjad Khan and Md. Akber, who were allegedly extorting money from persons, claiming to be Task Force sleuths. Two women, B. Yadamma and Hajira Begum, were also held for aiding and abetting the duo.
