Thiruvananthapuram: The GNU/Linux users’ group (GLUG), Thiruvananthapuram, along with Zyxware Technologies and SPACE-Kerala will organise a GNU/Linux Installation Fest at the Cotton Hill LP School, Vazhuthacaud, on July 14. Those who would like to try out free software can bring computers (CPU) or laptops to the venue for installation. Visitors can select from a list of GNU/Linux flavours like Mandriva, IT@School, Ubuntu or Fedora. GLUG is a collective of free and open source software enthusiasts in the city.
