This Day That Age
A severe heat-wave is persisting in Guntur and the temperature has been ranging between 114 to 118 degrees F during the last few days. Business during day time is completely suspended, and people are rarely seen walking to the street after ten in the morning. On June 11,the temperature rose to 118 degrees F by ten in the morning and continued to be so during the night as well. Several cases of sunstroke have been reported in Bhadrachalam which recorded a temperature of 121.2 degrees F on the same day.
