Gaya: Vice-President Hamid Ansari on Thursday visited the historic Mahabodhi Temple in Bodh Gaya, about 14 km from here. Accompanied by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and other ministers, Mr. Ansari went to the temple and prayed for peace. Mr. Ansari also visited the “Mahabodhi Tree” here under which Lord Buddha got enlightenment. Mahabodhi Temple is the most sacred Buddhist Shrine.
