KATHMANDU: Ministers from the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) submitted their resignations to party chairman Prachanda on Thursday. Information and Communications Minister Krishna Bahadur Mahara submitted the joint resignation to Mr. Prachanda. Maoist leader and CA member Barsha Man Pun alias Ananta told The Hindu the Ministers resigned “to put pressure as the parties failed to reach consensus to form a new government.” On Thursday, Maoist leader Dr. Baburam Bhattarai said the the new government, led by the Maoists, would be formed before June 18.
