Cosmo triumphs

TIRUCHI: Shajahan and Sundaresan scored half-centuries as Cosmo CC defeated Mannar CC by four wickets to win the H.H. Rajah of Pudukottai Mannar Memorial Rolling Trophy at the State-level T20 cricket tournament here on Thursday.

The scores:

Final: Mannar CC 180 for two in 20 overs (Dhanasekar 89 not out, M.R. Muthupandi 69) lost to Cosmo CC 184 for six in 19 overs (Shajahan 53, Sundaresan 50 not out, Regyl 25, Ibram Shah three for 34).

Third place: MAP CC 120 for four in 15 overs (Terrance Savio 35) bt Southern Railway Institute 104 for eight in 15 overs (Selvam 33, Narendran four for 15).
