Union Minister to meet NLC union leaders

NEW DELHI: Minister of State for Coal Santosh Bagrodia on Friday will hold deliberations with leaders of various NLC trade unions, who are on strike for the past 11 days.

The striking contract workers are seeking regularisation and parity in pay with permanent employees.

Mr. Bagrodia will meet a delegation of the All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC), led by its general secretary Gurudas Dasgupta, to resolve the employees’ grievances. — Special Correspondent
